Of Old Jeans
Friday, September 20th, 2013 13:34A pair of jeans that I've worn way too much over the past 3 years finally gave way to giant holes in the crotch and butt area.
What to do with old jeans?
I'm a big fan of recycling and upcycling (and cycling itself). It's been long known that jeans are awesome for making bags:

Or phone covers:

BUT these aren't the only things jeans can become.
So, I shall reincarnate my jeans into something else...
The possibilities:
1) For avid readers: Book Covers

Durable and unique, with a totally useful pocket! :D
(For more stunningly eye-catching book covers, see: http://www.pinterest.com/delia15/diy-book-covers-journals/)
2) For a more visually appealing dining experience: Denim Coasters and Placemats <3 <3

3) For the very creative/dysfunctional: DENIM BRAIN XD

4) For those who need craft supplies: Decorative jean spirals:
which can be made into stuff like this:

5) For adding a touch of colour to furniture: Cushion Covers!

(Source: google images. Google 'jeans cushion cover')
I actually made a cushion cover out of jeans' material before. So cute and easy to wash!
6) For those who really need to organize their mail: Jeans' letter holders

7) For those with too much time on their hands: Denim patched carpet
(I must say, that THIS looks damn impressive!)

And finally...
8) For the extremely talented one who sews: Denim ballgowns

(I would love one of these. Ahahaha)
